Joseph Allen Dwyer, 49, of Old Turnpike Road, Fitzwilliam NH, died Thursday March 4, 2010 at the Leominster Hospital, Leominster MA following a sudden illness.
He was born March 18, 1960 in Fitchburg MA, son of Donald and Sylvia (Michelson) Dwyer. His family moved to Greenville NH when he was two years old. He grew up in Greenville and had attended Mascenic Regional High School in New Ipswich. In his younger years he was a member of the Federated Church in Greenville.
He worked as a mechanic having worked part time at Wheels in Motion in Winchendon MA just to mention one of his many places of employment.
He called Fitzwilliam home, but because of his love of travel he has lived in Florida, Maine, Nevada, California, Texas and Massachusetts.
He found enjoyment in metal detecting, gold panning, ATV’s, motorcycles, snowmobiling, inventing, electronics, cars, engineering and mechanics.
Surviving family members include his mother Sylvia Baker and step-father Edward Baker of Palmyra ME; his daughter Jolene C. Fraser of Pepperell, MA; his brother Donald J. Dwyer of New Smyrna FL; three sisters Cathy C. Dwyer of Spencer MA, Susan L. Tremblay of St. Albans ME and Beth A. Cormier of Monroe ME; his grandmother Selma L. Wainio of Fitchburg MA; two grandchildren Lillian R. Fraser-Gray and Damien Saige Sheldon both of Pepperell, MA; 18 nieces and nephews; six great nieces and nephews; numerous cousins.
