Alice Doris Sirois

Alice D. Sirois, 83, of Plantation Drive in Jaffrey died peacefully Sunday December 23, 2012 at the Good Shepherd Health Care Center following a period of failing health. She was born in Jaffrey on September 1, 1929, daughter of the late Alfred and Yvonne (Gauthier) Pelkey. Alice had attended Jaffrey schools and has been a life long resident of this community. She retired from Millipore Corp in 1992 following sixteen years of employment. Previously she had worked at D.D. Bean Sons Co for thirty one years. She was a communicant of St. Patrick Church in Jaffrey. Alice was married to Francis A. Sirois who died July 30, 1984. She most cherished the time spent with her family and especially the grandchildren. She loved them all very much. Survivors include her three sons Francis A Sirois, Jr. of Troy, Richard A. Sirois of Rindge and Michael P. Sirois of Jaffrey; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four sisters Rita Chamberlain and Marie Rene both of Jaffrey, Felice Johnson of Greenfield MA., and Lorraine Holman of Winchendon, MA.; two brothers Andrew Pelkey of Winchendon, MA and Franklin Pelkey of Marlborough; several nieces and nephews.

Spring burial in St. Patrick Cemetery will be at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Rehab Nursing Center, c/o “Activities Fund”, 20 Plantation Drive Jaffrey NH 03452 or to have Masses said in Alice’s memory.

As per her request, there will be no calling hours.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday December 28, 2012 at 11:00AM in St. Patrick Church, 89 Main Street, Jaffrey. Rev. Wilfred H. Deschamps, pastor, will officiate.
