Andrea Florence Stone

Andrea Florence Stone, 46, of Number 4 Road in Fitzwilliam died Sunday, June 8, 2008 at the Cheshire Medical Center in Keene after a courageous 6-year battle with cancer.
 
She was born in Keene, NH on June 28, 1961, daughter of the late Robert and Viola (Simpanen) Florence.  Andrea graduated from Monadnock Regional High School in Swanzey in 1979, and received her Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design from Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner, MA. 
 
Andrea had worked as a Typographer for New England Business Services for several years.  She attended Hope Community Church in Keene and enjoyed scrapbooking, cooking, Vacation Bible School and many more church activities.
 
In addition to her parents, Andrea was preceded in death by her brothers James E. Florence in 2000 and Robert K, Florence, Jr. in 2003.
 
She is survived by her husband Stillman S.  Bud Stone of Fitzwilliam, NH, her sisters Robin Florence of Swanzey, NH and Jodie Chamberlain of Jaffrey, NH, her brother Peter Florence of Fitzwilliam, NH, 3 nephews, 2 nieces and many cousins and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Andreas name to the Hope Community Church, Post Office Box 955, Keene, NH 03431-0955, or to the American Cancer Society, Gail Singer Memorial Building, 360 Route 101, Unit 8, Bedford, NH 03110.

Friends and family are invited to calling hours on Friday June 13, 2008, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Cournoyer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 33 River Street, (Route 202) in Jaffrey.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at the family lot in Pine Grove Cemetery on Royalston Road in Fitzwilliam.  Pastor John Brown from the Hope Community Church in Keene will officiate.
