Jaffrey, New Hampshire Audrey ‘Mitch’ Caudill, 80, of Alder Court in Jaffrey died on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at the Merrimack Valley Hospital in Haverhill, MA with his daughter by his side. He was born on September 14, 1930 in Farmers, Kentucky, the son of the late Davis and Mae (Armstrong) Caudill. He had attended schools Montpelier, Indiana but left high school early to join the Navy. He served in the United States Navy for nine years during the Korean Conflict, as an aircraft engine mechanic with the 101st Fleet Aircraft Service Squadron. Mitch has lived in Jaffrey since 2001 and had previously lived in Rindge since 1992. Before moving to the Monadnock Region, he lived in Burlington, MA for twenty six years. While in Burlington he was employed as an inspector for Barry Controls, a sheet metal molding company. He is survived by his daughter Debbie Creekmore and her husband Bud of Jaffrey; his beloved grandson Buddy; two sisters Katie McKean of Tampa, Fla. and Mildred Wilson of Michigan.

Private committal services will be held at the convenience of the family at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Burlington, MA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Activities Fund at Good Shepherd Healthcare Center, 20 Plantation Drive, Jaffrey, NH 03452

As per his request, there will be no calling hours.
