Billy J. Dellasanta

Billy J. Dellasanta, 47, of Jaffrey, NH, died suddenly and unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, November 13, 2014 with his mother by his side. Billy was born on January 25, 1967 in Fitchburg, MA, son of the late William E. Dellasanta, and Lorraine C. (Blais) Dellasanta of Jaffrey. Billy had graduated from Saint Patrick School in Jaffrey and then attended Saint Bernard High School in Fitchburg. He played football while attending St. Bernard’s and proudly earned the Most Valuable Player award in 1981. Billy continued his education in Jaffrey at Conant High School. Mr. Dellasanta was an avid outdoorsmen who enjoyed skiing, hunting and fishing. Billy was an active member of the Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 11 in Jaffrey. In addition to his mother, Billy is survived by his brother, Michael Dellasanta and his wife Meg of Hancock; his sister, Colleen Dellasanta-James of Swanzey, NH; his brother, Patrick L. James, and his sister, Destiny Dellasanta, both of Jaffrey, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends. He will be missed by all. Calling hours are Tuesday, November 18, 2014 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at the Cournoyer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 33 River Street, Jaffrey, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow calling hours at 2:00 PM at St. Patrick Church, 89 Main Street, Jaffrey. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Jaffrey.
