Brenda Anne Dean

Brenda Anne Durant Dean, 67, of Rindge, died peacefully at home, surrounded by her adoring family on March 17, 2015. She was born February 17, 1948, daughter of the late Dexter and Virginia (Black) Durant.

She leaves her husband of 45 years, Timothy Dean, originally of Surry. Born and schooled in Keene, Brenda and her husband settled in Rindge where together they raised 5 daughters; Rosalind Dean of Winchester, Hillary Dean of Rindge, Tiffany Bellerose of Jaffrey, Elisha Adams of Rindge, and Bridget Murphy of Rindge. Brenda leaves 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren with one more on the way. Brenda also leaves behind her brother Dexter Durant of Merrimack and her sister Michele Pardue of Alabama. She adored her Dog Macy.

Brenda accomplished a great deal in her short time on earth. She lovingly raised her children and then fulfilled her dream of becoming a nurse when she went back to school at age 51. She enjoyed reading, spending time on the beach and time with her family. Brenda traveled the world with her family and her husband, from the Bermuda Triangle, Hawaii, Europe, Central America, to Alaska. She saw all 50 states and enjoyed more cruises than she could count. Brenda’s love of life was contagious, as was her smile. She will be greatly missed.

Family and friends are warmly invited to calling hours on Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Cournoyer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 33 River Street, (Rte. 202) Jaffrey, NH 03452.

A funeral service will immediately follow calling hours in the funeral home chapel at 1:00pm with Rev. Wilfred Deschamps, Pastor of Saint Patrick Church in Jaffrey as the officiant.

Burial will take place in the spring at Hillside Cemetery in Rindge at the convenience of the family.
