Camille Raymond Cormier

Camille Raymond Cormier, 59 of Peterborough Street, Jaffrey died Monday November 1, 2010 at his residence following a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born April 14, 1951 in Sackville, New Brunswick Canada, son of the late Alfred C. and Celine M. Cormier. Ray spent his early childhood in Canada and has been a resident of Jaffrey since 1964. He attended Conant High School in Jaffrey.
Ray worked as a driver for the former Cott Beverage Company in Jaffrey, Baird Paving and D.D. Bean Sons. For fourteen years he worked for the Town of Jaffrey. First as a truck driver for the highway department and later at Jaffreys waste water facility. He also worked for New England Wood Pellet Co, East Coast Steel, Millipore Corp and most recently was employed at E-Waste Recycling in Jaffrey.
He was a huge fan of Mark Martin, and enjoyed following NASCAR events. He most cherished the time spent boating on Lake Contoocook with his family.
He is survived by his two sons Jacob R. Cormier of Jaffrey and Jason R. Cormier of Townsend MA; six sisters Rosella Ward, Matilda Chapman, Anita Chapman and Claudette Leaman all of Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, Jeannie Mullins of Fredericton, NB and Dorette Sanbourin of Fitchburg, MA; five brothers Alyre J. Cormier of Ottawa, Ontario, Junior J. Cormier of Vancouver, British Columbia, Robert J. Cormier and Ronald J. Cormier both of Moncton, New Brunswick, and Danny J. Cormier of Jaffrey; many nieces and nephews.

For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in order to assist with funeral arrangements.

Following cremation, private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

As per his request, there will be no calling hours.
