Daniel Michael Patrick O'Connell

Daniel Michael Patrick O’Connell, 72, of Rindge, New Hampshire died on June 26, 2013 surrounded by his family after a period of declining health.

Daniel was born in England, on June 6, 1941, son of the late Patrick and Mary-Theresa (Quill) O’Connell. He attended schools in England before migrating to the United States in 1957.

He worked as a painter for Michael Pucko in West Boylston, Massachusetts before opening and operating his own painting business.

He was known for being a great dart player, and established several dart leagues throughout the Fitchburg pubs. He was also a league player in the Worcester and Boston dart leagues.

He is survived by his companion and best friend of over 40 years, Nancy Piepiora of Rindge, NH; his four brothers; his two sisters and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

As per his request, there will be no calling hours or formal services at this time.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Forest Hill Cemetery in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.
