Felix A. Cloutier

Felix A. Cloutier, 80, of Lehtinen Road, Jaffrey died Monday June 25, 2012 at the Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough. He was born December 14, 1931 in Jaffrey, son of the late Alfred J. and Evelina (Sirois) Cloutier. He was a 1950 graduate of Conant High School in Jaffrey and has been a life long resident of this community. Following high school, Felix enlisted in the United States Air Force and served as an Airman First Class. He had formerly worked for D.D. Bean and Sons Co in Jaffrey. After his service with the military was completed he worked for more than twenty five years with Sprague Carleton furniture manufacturing in Keene. When the company was sold he began working for Temple-Stuart Furniture in Templeton MA until this company closed its doors. He then worked for Graphic Cast in Jaffrey until his retirement in 1990. Felix also worked for Jaffrey Historian Alice Lehtinen on her farm since he was a young boy. He loved animals and the out-of-doors. He was always doing something, but when asked what he was doing he would answer just “Dubbing”. Most cherished to him was the time spent with family. His wife of forty-eight years Barbara (MacDonald) Cloutier died March 10, 2004. Survivors include his son Daniel T. Cloutier of Jaffrey; two daughters Donna A. LaPointe of Jaffrey and Michelle L. Senecal of Merrimack; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; many cousins and close friends.

As per his request, there will be no calling hours.

Private graveside services in St. Patrick Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
