Geraldine N. Letourneau, 95, formerly of Jaffrey, died peacefully Tuesday May 3, 2011 at the Hamilton Continuing Care Center, in Hamilton NJ, following a period of failing health.

Gerry was born December 23, 1915 in Quebec City P.Q., Canada the only child of the late Pierre and Alice (Dubois) Gagne.
Gerry spent her formative years in Canada and had lived most of her life in Jaffrey before moving to New Jersey in December 2005 to be near her family.

She was a retired employee of the New Hampshire Ball Bearings in Peterborough, and was a communicant of St. Patrick Church in Jaffrey.

She was married to Homer E. Letourneau who died January 1976.

Survivors include her daughter Elaine Pelton and her husband Duke of Robbinsville NJ; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; her daughter in law Joyce Letourneau of Nashua; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was also predeceased by her son Richard A. Letourneau of Nashua on February 5, 1995.

For those who wish, memorial contribution may be made to either the Jaffrey Rindge Memorial Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 107, Jaffrey NH 03452 or to St. Patrick Church for Masses to be offered for the repose of her soul.

Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Jaffrey.

Family and friends are warmly invited to call at the Cournoyer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 33 River St., Jaffrey on Monday May 9, 2011 from 10:00 until 12:00 Noon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12:00 Noon in St. Patrick Church, 89 Main Street, Jaffrey. Rev. Wilfred H. Deschamps, pastor, will officiate.
