In the early morning hours of November 7th, 2009, Helen Pollari quietly passed away at the Franklin Regional Hospital in Franklin, NH. She was 86 years young.

Helen was born on November 28, 1922 in Gardner Mass to Finnish immigrants; Antti Pollari and Katri Haapalainen. She was the youngest of four siblings.

Helen excelled in school studies and graduated from Fitchburg High School. She was an avid reader, a gifted artist, and enjoyed writing plays for her children to perform. Never would she passup the opportunity to play a game of cribbage.

On June 29, 1953 she married Walter F. Vaine. Their family included two daughters and a son. She nurtured the family with a humble heart.Her sincere caring extended well beyond the bounds offamily, to include the far reaches of her environment.

For over twenty years she has resided in a community home inEast Andover, NH.Millie Longfellow, her family and the other residentsbecame an extended family to Helen.

Helen was predeceased by a sister, Ann Gilliland, a brother Toivo Pollari, a secondnephew JosephSnow Jr., a daughter Shelley, and a great grandson Thomas Breault II.

She is survived by her sister Lempi Beaudoin of Winchendon, Mass, a daughter Bonnie Mohla and a son Scott Vaine of Wilder Vt., and a daughter Belle Weigle of Lyndeborough, NH. Her grandchildren are Breanna Mohla of Orlando, Fl, Brittney Mohla of Wilder, Vt.and James, Carl and Margaret Weigle of Lyndeborough, NH. She has a great-granddaughter Cecilie Breault of Wilder Vt, and she is also survived by several nieces andtwo wonderful son-in-laws.

Family and friends are warmly invited to Calling Hours which will be held at the Cournoyer Funeral Home Cremation Center, 33 River Street, (Route 202) in Jaffrey, NH on Wednesday, November 11 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

A Graveside Service and Internment will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in White River Junction, Vermont on Thursday November 12, at 11:00 a.m.
