Jane Ann Hannon

Jane Ann Hannon, 71 of Rindge, NH, passed away on August 1, 2013 at Hillcrest Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Fitchburg, MA.

She was born and raised in Fitchburg, MA, daughter of Paul and Anne (Nichols) Dempsey. Jane was a graduate of Fitchburg High School and received a degree from Boston University School of Business. Jane worked for Oakmont Regional High School in Ashburnham, MA, as a teacher of Business Education. She has been a resident of Rindge, NH for more than 40 years.

Jane was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, stepmother, and grandmother. She enjoyed giving her time to the church, community, and Woman’s Club in Rindge. She will be greatly missed by her son, Joseph Hannon, his wife, Danielle Hannon, and their daughter, Haley Hannon; as well as her brother, William Dempsey; her step children, Sandy and Dennis Manseau, Kathy and Allen Munson, and Michael Hannon; cousins, Fred and Fran Gay, the Nichols family; and the rest of her extended family, which includes the church community, and so many loving friends.

Family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate Jane’s life by gathering for calling hours at the Cournoyer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 33 River Street (Route 202 South) in Jaffrey, NH on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

A funeral ceremony will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2013 beginning at 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church of Rindge, 6 Payson Hill Road (on the common) in Rindge.
