Jeanne Clara Titcomb

Antrim, New Hampshire

Jeanne Clara Titcomb, 79, of Old Carr Road in Antrim, died Wednesday March 3, 2010 at the Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough following a period of failing health.

She was born April 14, 1930 in Torrington CT., the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary E. (Arnott) Sparks. She was a graduate of Torrington High School and had lived in Bolton CT before moving to Antrim thirty five years ago.

Jeanne retired from Eastern Mountain Sports in Peterborough in 1998; previously she had been employed by Brookstone. During her years in Bolton CT. she was a member of the Bolton Congregational Church and had also worked at the church office.

Jeanne loved and was loved by her family and friends.

She was married to Robert Nelson Titcomb, he died July 24, 1992.


Family members include her two daughters, Cheryl Wilder and her husband Bob of Peterborough, NH; Roberta Titcomb of Victorville CA; her son Glen Titcomb and his partner Sue Hill of Antrim NH; five grandchildren Mark Bemont and his wife Maria of Peterborough NH, Brian Bemont and his wife Megan of Falmouth MA, Danielle Wilder of Fort Collins CO, Tammy Wilder of Ann Arbor MI and Megan ODonnell of Southwick MA; two great grandchildren Riley Bemont and Morgan Bemont both of Peterborough NH; three sisters Janet Benoit of Keene NH, Joan Genevese and Edna Weingart both of Harwinton CT, ; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband she was predeceased by four other sisters, Gertrude Zoffallato, Adelelaide Cisowski, Grace Milanese, and Margaret Brown.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Sight Services for Independent Living, Department of Education, 21 Fruit Street, Suite 20, Concord NH 03301

As per her request, there will be no calling hours or formal funeral service at this time.
