John "Jack" Dale

John “Jack” R. Dale, Sr., 81, of Melrose, MA & Rindge, NH passed away on September 12, 2014 at the West Roxbury Veteran’s Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Born in West Roxbury he was the son of the late, Richard T. and Miriam (Sexton) Dale.

He graduated from Boston College High School and later Bentley College. Jack served with honor in the United States Army in Korea. He was a franchise owner and President of Vespa of Massachusetts.

Jack leaves his wife, Rita (Dami) Dale, his children, John “Jack” Dale Jr. of Winchendon, MA; Mary Gendrolis and her husband Joseph of E. Weymouth, MA; Susan Crossen of Newton, MA; Harry Dale of Melrose, MA; and James Dale and his wife Geraldine of N. Reading, MA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren that he loved very much, and several nieces and nephews.

Jack was predeceased by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

A private Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick Church in Jaffrey, NH. Jack will be buried with Military Honors at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon, MA.
