Winchester

David Robert Meattey, Jr., 52, of Jones Road, Winchester died unexpectedly at his residence Saturday November 27, 2010.

He was born April 20, 1958 in Keene son of David R. and Barbara E. (White) Meattey, and
was a 1976 graduate of Monadnock Regional High School in Swanzey.

He was a Winchester resident most recently, but previously had lived in Fitzwilliam and in Framingham MA.

David, a union welder, worked on the Big Dig project in Boston, and most recently was a seasonal worker for Target Stores in Keene.
He loved music, kickboxing, Muay Thai, hunting and reading.

He is survived by his two daughters Crystal Meattey of Keene, and Alyssa Meattey of Jaffrey; four grandchildren; several cousins and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cournoyer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 486, Jaffrey NH 03452 in order to assist the daughters with expenses.

Private burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Fitzwilliam, will be at the convenience of the family.

There will be no calling hours.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 11:00AM at the Fitzwilliam Community Church, officiated by Rev. Lynda T. Tolton.
