Judith 'Judy' Coll

Judith, “Judy” Folsom Coll, 52, of Jaffrey, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the Good Shepherd Healthcare and Rehabilitation center after a long courageous battle with cancer.

She was born at Fairchild Air Force Base in Spokane, WA on November 29, 1961, the daughter of Barry Sr. and Elizabeth (West) Folsom. Judy grew up in Colfax, WA, until her senior year when she moved to New Hampshire and was a 1981 graduate of ConVal High School in Peterborough. She had lived in Jaffrey since marrying Christopher P. Coll on November 21, 1982.

Judy worked at Millipore in Jaffrey for over 14 years. She was in the engineering section and assisted in the design of production techniques for the various items being manufactured. She was a very dedicated employee who worked lots of overtime and went in to work whenever she was needed or called upon.

Judy was an avid Lighthouse collector, loved spending time at the beach and instead of lavish vacations; she enjoyed taking the family to the Cape to visit lighthouses. She also loved watching NASCAR races, was a huge Dale Earnhardt, Jr. fan, and has many of his personal collectible items.

When she was not at work, Judy and her first granddaughter, Carlee, now 6 years old, were “glued at the hip” always cooking and baking, swimming and playing. She LOVED spending time with her granddaughters, Carlee, Ashlynn, 18 months old, and Brooklynn, 9 months old.

In addition to her parents and husband, Judy is survived by her daughter Jami Coll of Hinsdale; her 2 sons, Jason & Joshua Coll, both of Jaffrey; 3 granddaughters, Carlee, Ashlynn & Brooklynn of Hinsdale; her brother, Barry Folsom Jr. and her sister, Denise Folsom Greisen; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Family & friends are warmly invited to attend calling hours on Monday, July 28, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at the Cournoyer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 33 River Street (Route 202 south) in Jaffrey.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 10:00AM in St. Patrick Church, 89 Main Street, Jaffrey, NH. Rev Wilfred H. Deschamps, pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Jaffrey.
