Kathleen Mary Robinson

December 8, 1953 — March 10, 2010

Kathleen M. Robinson, 56, of Main Street Jaffrey died Wednesday March 10, 2010 at her residence, with her husband and sister by her side.

She was born December 8, 1953 in Scranton, Pennsylvania the daughter of Harold and Helen (Bushmann) Hagen.
Growing up she had attended junior high school in Cherry Hill, New Jersey and graduated from high school in Columbia, Maryland. She was a 1976 graduate of Maryland University where she received her degree in English.

Kathleen lived in Columbia MD and worked for the National Park Service in Washington DC for ten years, before she and her husband moved to Jaffrey in 1985.

In Jaffrey she was an active member of the First Church Congregational of Jaffrey Center. She had served the church as a Deacon for several years and was involved with the churchs annual summer fair. Kathleen was in charge of the childrens portion of the Fair for many years.


She was a life member of the Village Improvement Society of Jaffrey Center, and served the Town of Jaffrey for eight years as a supervisor of the Check List.

She loved music and was an ardent lifetime Beatles fan. She enjoyed playing her guitar and tending to her flowers gardens. She was an avid reader.

Kathleen is survived by her husband Lloyd C. Robinson, whom she married on September 9, 1982; her mother of Greenback Village, VA; her sister Nancy Sapak and her husband Keith of Center Harbor, NH; her brother Harold H. 'Kip' Hagen, Jr. and his wife Donna of Tafton, PA; several nieces and nephews.

Her family requests that memorial contributions be made to her favorite charity, The Salvation Army, 15 Roxbury Plaza, Keene, NH 03431.

Following cremation burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery, in Arlington VA on Wednesday May 19, 2010.

There will be no calling hours.

A Memorial service will be heldon Saturday May 15, 2010 at 2:00PM in the FirstCongregational Church of Jaffrey, 14 Laban Ainsworth Way, Jaffrey Center.
