Marianne Walczyk Baudler

Marianne Walczyk Baudler, 56, of Jaffrey died peacefully at her residence on Friday July 19, 2013 following a courageous battle with Melanoma.

She was born June 30, 1957 in Hempstead, NY, daughter of the late Walter and Beatrice (Petrucci) Walczyk.
Marianne was a 1975 graduate of Hauppauge (NY) High School and had attended Suffolk Community College as well as Mt. Wauchusett Community College.

She has been a resident of Jaffrey for the past twenty seven years and had previously lived in Smithtown NY.

Marianne was employed as a Unit Coordinator for Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough as well as Catholic Medical Center in Manchester.

Marianne was a devoted mother and cherished the time spent with her family.

She is survived by her husband of thirty years Ernest J. Baudler of Jaffrey; her two sons Jacob E. Baudler of Keene and Keenan T. Baudler of New Ipswich; her daughter Juliana E. Baudler of Jaffrey; sisters Geri Grasso of Centereach, NY and Susan Ratner of Smithtown NY; brothers-in-law Steve Ratner and Richie Grasso; nieces and nephews and many close friends.

Family and friends will honor Marianne’s life by gathering for calling hours at Cournoyer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 33 River Street (Route 202 south) in Jaffrey on Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and again at 9:00AM on Tuesday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Patrick Church, 89 Main Street, Jaffrey where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00AM. Rev. Wilfred H. Deschamps, pastor will officiate. Burial will follow in the New Cutter Cemetery Extension in Jaffrey.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that we honor Marianne’s memory with a contribution to either the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Ave, Boston MA 02215 or to Melanoma Research Alliance, 1101 New York Avenue NW, Suite 620, Washington DC 20005.
