Marie Louise Bennett

Marie Louise Bennett, 94, died peacefully Sunday March7, 2010 at the Good Shepherd Health Center in Jaffrey, NH.

She was born April 21, 1915 in Brunswick Maine, daughter of the late Eugene and Josephine Silva. Her family moved to Worcester MA when she was very young. She grew up in the Worcester area and has also lived in Marlboro MA, and North Haverhill NH before moving to Peterborough NH around 2002. She has been a resident at Good Shepherd for the past four years.

She loved music and loved to dance. Dancing is how she met her husband William Anthony Bennett. He died March 19, 1991.

Survivors include two daughters Theresa Baker of Richmond and Valerie Keblin of Cape Fear, MO; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; and her brother Joseph Silva of Miami FL.

Her family requests that in lieu of flowers, that the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass be offered for the repose of her soul.

Spring burial will be at the convenience of the family in St. Joseph Cemetery in Bath New Hampshire.
