Marion R McLaughlin

Marion R. McLaughlin, 79, formerly of New Ipswich, died peacefully at Crestwood Center in Milford, on Thursday, September 24, 2015 after a brave battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

Marion was born in Waltham, Massachusetts on December 15, 1935, daughter of Patrick and Lily (Miller) McLaughlin. She was raised and educated in Massachusetts.

Marion held a longtime devotion to Elvis and was a passionate Bingo player as well. She valued the company of her family and friends over all else.

In addition to her parents, Marion was predeceased by her brothers, Donald McLaughlin, Frank McLaughlin, Alfred McLaughlin, John McLaughlin, Patrick McLaughlin, and by her sister, Kathleen Conti.

Marion is survived by her beloved sister, Lily Ball and her niece, Cyndi Ball, both of Milford, NH, who were her primary caregivers throughout her health challenges. She is also survived by her 2 sisters, Violet Michaud of Buena, NJ, and Margaret LaFrance of Milford, NH, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

At her request, there will be no calling hours.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 12, 2015 at 11:00am at the family lot in Pine Hill Cemetery on Sand Hill Road in Peterborough, NH. Rev. Wilfred Deschamps, Pastor of Saint Patrick Church in Jaffrey will officiate.

The family welcomes flowers, or memorial contributions may also be made to Home Health and Hospice Care, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack, NH 03054.
