Marlene Barbara Morse

MARLENE B. MORSE, 72, of Michigan Road, Jaffrey formerly of Bellows Falls VT, died peacefully Saturday May 22, 2010 at home following a brief illness.

She was born September 12, 1937 in Springfield MA, the daughter of Dean R. and Roberta Jane Brown. She grew up in Bellows Falls VT and was a 1955 graduate of Bellows Falls High School.
Mrs. Morse has been a resident of Jaffrey for the past year.

Mrs. Morse worked as a cook at Kurn Hattin Homes for many years and later had volunteered at Our Place in Bellows Falls.

She loved to do puzzles especially Jig-Saw puzzles. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She also enjoyed gardening and caring for plants. But most of all she cherished time spent with her family.

Her husband of forty two years Robert Jay Morse Sr. died in 2002.

In addition to her mother of Brattleboro VT, she is survived by two sons Robert J. Morse and his Lara of Rotunda West FL and Scott D. Morse and wife Kelly of Port Charlotte FL; her three daughters Patti Duling and husband Jeffrey of Springfield VT, Brenda Ticino and husband Richard with whom she lived in Jaffrey NH and Karen Potts of Temecula CA; twelve grandchildren, Kevin Ticino, Craig Morse, Kevin Potts, Robert Potts Jr, Kayleigh Russell, Jason Williams, Timothy Williams, Sean Williams, Alyssa Morse, Jaydon Morse, Blythe Lamoureux, Joscelyn Lamoureux, Jessica Duling and Nicole Duling; nine great grandchildren; two brothers Dean F. Brown and wife Winnie of Aiken SC and Dean R. Brown Jr and wife Margaret of Margate FL; a sister Patti Lucia and husband George of Bellows Falls VT.; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Hospice of HCS, Post Office Box 496, Peterborough NH 03458.

There will be no public calling hours.

Private services will be at the convenience of her family.
