Michael Cortland Finch

July 17, 1980 — November 20, 2015

WORCESTER- Michael Cortland Finch, 35, of Worcester, formerly of Rindge, NH, passed away November 20, 2015 after a brief illness.

Mike was born in Worcester, the oldest child of William and Margaret (Burgwinkel) Finch. He grew up in Rindge where he was a member of Boy Scout Troop #33 of Jaffrey, and a fan of baseball, collecting assorted memorabilia.

Mike lived in Worcester for many years and was a bartender at Ralph's, Nick's, and Vincent's.

Mike was loved dearly by family and friends for his kind and humorous spirit. He was a great lover of animals and lost one of his best friends, his dog Tennille, in May.

Mike was also predeceased by his grandmothers, Mary Elizabeth ( Hatstat) Burgwinkel, in 1964, and Arline (Sinclair) Finch, one month ago; his uncles, Michael Burgwinkel in 1995, and Steven Burgwinkel in 1996; and cousin Sydney Burgwinkel in 2011.

Mike's loss will be deeply felt by many, including his parents Bill and Peg Finch of Rindge, NH; brother Tim Finch and his wife Ava Collins of Tuckahoe, NY; sister Emily Polk and her husband Terence of Greensboro, NC; grandfather Carleton Finch of Fitchburg; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Mike’s funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time, but will be announced on www.cournoyerfh.com when available.
