Michelle Lizotte

December 2, 1970 — February 20, 2012

Jaffrey, New Hampshire Michelle Lizotte, 41, of Jacquith Road in Jaffrey died Monday, February 20, 2012 at the Monadnock Community Hospital after a sudden illness. Michelle was born on December 2, 1970 in Peterborough, NH, daughter of Roland and Louise (Lambert) Baillargeon. She was a 1992 graduate of Conant High School. Michelle married Bradley Lizotte in 1992 and moved with him to Jacksonville, North Carolina while he served in the U. S. Marines. Afterwards, and together as a family, they moved back home to Jaffrey where they have lived ever since. Michelle’s son’s health care needs kept her close to home, but she would always say that Jonathan was not only her son, he was her life, and she enjoyed her role as mom and caregiver. Michelle’s caring nature was also evident as she would often help the elderly in the area while working with Home Healthcare and HCS. She devoted much of her free time to her love of cheerleading and had coached the Con-Val High School Cheerleaders for 4 years and the Conant High School Cheerleaders for 3 years. She also enjoyed working with ceramics and painting. She was predeceased by her brothers Mark Roland Baillargeon and Peter Phillip Baillargeon, and by her sister Nicole Renee Baillargeon. In addition to her parents who live in Troy, Michelle is survived by her husband of 19 years, Bradley D. Lizotte of Jaffrey; her 2 daughters, Kimberly and Cathryn Lizotte, and her 2 sons Michael Benoit and Jonathan Lizotte, all of Jaffrey; her 3 grandchildren, Raven Fleck, Makenzie Benoit, and Charles Beers; her sister Lynda and her husband Carl Blake of Troy; 3 nephews, Aaron, Spencer and Clayton Blake; aunts, uncles, cousins, and her loving in-laws, Wayne and Sue Davis, and Brad’s brother Francis Lizotte, all of Jaffrey.

Burial will be later at the family lot in Saint Patrick Cemetery in Jaffrey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Michelle’s name to Boston Children’s Hospital, c/o Children's Hospital Trust, 1 Autumn Street, #731 Boston, MA, 02215-5301, in recognition of their care for Jonathan through the years.
