Patricia W. Klein

March 24, 1936 — September 18, 2010

Rindge, New Hampshire
Patricia W. Klein, 74, of Monomonac Terrace in Rindge died Saturday, September 18, 2010 at her home with her loving family by her side, after a brief battle with lung cancer.
Mrs. Klein was born on March 24, 1936 in Camden, NJ, daughter of the late George and Pauline (Albertson) Walsh. She attended local schools and had previously lived in Riverton, NJ and Acton, MA before living in Foxboro, Massachusetts for over 25 years. Mrs. Klein had worked administratively with the Foxboro Company and enjoyed volunteering with the Activites, a local community support group that assisted with charitable fundraising through numerous media outlets like WGBH in Boston. Mrs. Klein was a longtime member of the Bethany Congregational Church in Foxboro where she had faithfully served as its Youth Group leader for many years.
Mrs. Klein loved spending her summers on Lake Monomonac in Rindge beginning in 1966 and then moved permanently into the familys lakeside cabin after it was winterized in 1987. She enjoyed making and collecting porcelain dolls and was an amazing seamstress who took time to teach her skills to her children and their families. She was the consummate wedding planner and had been a volunteer at the Cheshire Medical Center for many years. Mrs. Klein and her first husband had treasured their times together square dancing with the Sunshine Twirlers in Jaffrey. She also enjoyed travelling every chance she could and did so until her illness forced her to stay at home. Mrs. Klein will be remembered for living her life to the fullest. She believed in the law of attraction and ended up marrying the man who befriended her and supported her while she was caring for her first husband through his long battle with Alzheimers disease.
Mrs. Klein was preceded in death by her first husband, Edwin B. Klein, Jr. on April 27, 2008, her daughter, Wendy Lee Klein, on April 28, 2000, and by her sister Georgia Kaylor on August 19, 2008.
Mrs. Klein is survived by her husband Clement T. Yandow of Rindge, whom she married on March 28, 2009; her sons, John W. Klein of Portland, Maine and Michael and his wife Wendy Jane Klein of Rindge, NH; her step-daughters Rebecca Blanco of Providence, RI and Amanda Mears of Berlin, VT; her 11 grandchildren; her sister Polly Dougherty of Crystal River, Fla. and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

If you were unable to attend her party and would like to make a memorial donation in Mrs. Kleins name, the family requests they be made to any Salvation Army location near you.

There will be no calling hours or services at this time. Mrs. Klein enjoyed the opportunity to say farewell at the party she held at her home in July.
