Pauline Margaret Fournier

Pauline M. Fournier, 87, formerly of Hillcrest Road in Jaffrey died Wednesday July 28, 2010 at the Westwood Heath Care in Keene.

She was born April 12, 1923 in Jaffrey, daughter of the late Ernest and Edith (Jalbert) Caron.
Mrs. Fournier had attended Jaffrey schools and has been a life long resident of this community.

Mrs. Fournier was a former employee of the American Guernsey Cattle Club in Peterborough and had retired from D.D. Bean and Sons Company in Jaffrey at the age of sixty two following many years of employment.

Mrs. Fournier was a communicant of St. Patrick Church in Jaffrey and she had been a member of the John Humiston Post #11 American Legion Auxiliary for over 67 years.

She loved to travel. She especially enjoyed her trip to Hawaii as well as her many trips to Canada and Florida.

Her husband of sixty one years Bertrand Bert Fournier died April 16, 2006.

Family includes a sister Yvonne C. Davis and a brother Ernest G. Caron both of Jaffrey; several nieces and nephews especially Janet LaCroix who has looked after her since the death of Mrs. Fourniers husband.

Burial will be in Saint Patrick Cemetery, Jaffrey.

Calling hours will be held Monday, August 2, 2010,from 10:00AM to 12:00Noon at the Cournoyer Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 33 River Street (Route 202) in Jaffrey NH.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday immediately following calling hours at 12:00 Noon at Saint Patrick Church, 89 Main Street, Jaffrey. Rev. Wilfred H. Deschamps, pastor, will be the celebrant.
