PETER L. LANGLEY, 58, of Prospect Street, Jaffrey died peacefully at his summer residence on Pearly Pond in Rindge. He was born May 11, 1949 in Keene, son of Henry N. and Grace (McClary) Langley. He was a 1967 graduate of Marlborough High School, and had attended Keene State College. Peter had been employed as a printer at New England Business Service (NEBS) in Peterborough for eighteen years. Previously Peter was instrumental in the development of Brookstone during the companys formative years in Peterborough. He enjoyed fishing and boating but he most cherished time spent with his family. Survivors include his wife of 35 years Maria (Centra) Langley of Jaffrey; two sons Christopher N. Langley of Norwich CT and Michael L. Langley of Rindge; three grandchildren; his father of Inverness FL; four brothers Gary N. Langley of Winchester NH, Gerald A. Langley of Green NY, Roger D. Langley of Inverness FL and Bruce H. Langley of Bow, NH; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the United Church of Jaffrey, 54 Main Street, Jaffrey NH 03452.
Following cremation, Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Family and friends are warmly invited to call at the Cournoyer Funeral Home and Cremation Center 33 River Street, Jaffrey of Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00PM.
Funeral service will be held at the United Church of Jaffrey on Friday at 10:00AMRev. Jan Shepherd, interim pastor will officiate.
