Ruth E. Blair

Ruth E Blair, 92, of East Rindge passed away at her home with her family by her side on April 3, 2012. She was born on February 23, 1920 in Jaffrey NH, daughter of the late Clarence and Elvira Gordon. Throughout her life, Ruth lovingly provided for her family, and enjoyed gardening, fishing, baking and bird watching. Mrs. Blair was predeceased by her daughter Ruth Lorraine Blair. She is survived by her sons Everett C. Blair, Jr. and his wife Rosemary of Winchendon, MA, Robert E. Blair and his wife Paula of Winchendon, MA, Kenneth J. Blair of Edgewater, Fla., Steven A. Blair, Sr. and his wife Debra of Baldwinsville, MA, Richard W. Blair and his wife Gail of Jaffrey, NH, and her daughters Phyllis J. Blair of Laconia, NH, Joyce Blair and Roland Vaillancourt of West Rindge, NH, Judith A. Blair of Gardner, MA, Barbara Norwood of Fort Wayne, IN, Jeannette M. Westover and her husband John of Marlborough, NH; 26 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, three sisters, Pauline Rouhleau of Winchendon, MA, Doris Goodwin of Fitzwilliam, NH, and Lillian White of Orange, MA, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

A Celebration of Ruth’s life will take place on Friday, April 6, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Cournoyer Funeral Home Cremation Center, 33 River Street, Jaffrey, NH 03452. Burial will be in the family lot at Hillside Cemetery in Rindge, NH.
