Warren S. Hall, Sr.

WARREN S. HALL, SR., 86, formerly of Natick, Massachusetts, died Saturday, July 11, 2009 at the Good Shepherd Healthcare Center after a period of failing health.

He was born in Natick, MA on August 4, 1922, son of the late Ralph and Madeline (Gigliotti) Hall. Mr. Hall graduated from Natick High School in 1939 and soon joined the US Army to proudly serve his country during WWII. Mr. Hall served with the 12th Armored Division and liberated 4 death camps with General Patton. He served throughout Europe in England, France and Germany. Mr. Hall had been a long time member of the VFW in Natick.

Woodworking was both a hobby and a business for Mr. Hall. Upon returning home, he began his own building construction business and worked throughout the Natick area building homes and also doing finish carpentry. Mr. Hall enjoyed working together with his son right up until he started taking it easy but not necessarily retiring 10 years ago. He then kept himself busy making Grandfather and Grandmother Clocks for several years.

Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his wife Blanche (Fox) Hall on March 15, 2000. They had been very happily married since 1946. His brother Ralph B. Hall, Jr. also died earlier.

He is survived by his son Warren S. Hall, Jr. and his wife Nancy Carney of Fitzwilliam, NH; and his brother Charles M. Hall of Natick, MA, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

At Mr. Halls request, there will be no calling hours and all services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
