Rindge, New HampshireWayne J. Pepere Rigg, Sr., 76, of Maple Drive in Rindge, died Thursday March 24, 2011, peacefully at his residence.
He was born June 14, 1934 in Lowell, MA son of the late John H. and Jessie (Jackson) Rigg. He had attended Lowell schools.
Mr. Rigg served with the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
He has been a resident of Rindge since 1996 and had previously lived in South Lowell, MA. He was employed as a truck driver for D.J. Reardon Distributors in Billerica MA for thirty three years.
Mr. Rigg was an avid fisherman and a member of the U.S. Bunting Club of Lowell. But most of all he enjoyed time spent with family and friends at his camp on the shores of Laurel Lake in Fitzwilliam, NH.
He was predeceased by his wife of fifty years Marietta (Bennett) Rigg who died May 22, 2007.
Survivors include his son Wayne J. Rigg, Jr. and his wife Denise of Lowell; three daughters Debbie Duggan and husband Michael of Lowell, Doreen Flaherty and husband Jim of Harvard, MA, Dianna Gary and husband Jerry also of Lowell; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers John Rigg of Lowell and Arthur Rigg of Grafton, MA; nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

As per his request, there will be no calling hours.

Military Committal services will be held in the Chapel at the Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery, 111 Glenallen St., Winchendon MA on Friday April 8, 2011 at 1:00PM.
