Thomas R. Heissenberger

September 26, 1993 — October 28, 2016

Thomas R. Heissenberger, 23, of Hancock, NH died suddenly and unexpectedly on October 28, 2016 as the result of an automobile accident.

Thomas was born on September 26, 1993, in Providence, RI, the son of Walter and Brigitte (Boldt) Heissenberger. He grew up in Wrenthem, MA before moving to Hancock in 2000, where he attended Hancock Elementary School and graduated from Con-Val Regional High School in 2012. Thomas was well on his way towards a degree in Computer Science from the Rochester (NY) Institute of Technology. He had also studied Drafting and Design, in addition to Computer Aided Drafting and Design and Software Engineering from New Hampshire Technical Institute and Nashua Community College.

He was an avid downhill skier and enjoyed hiking and fishing. He was a force to be reckoned with while playing Varsity Lacrosse at Con-Val. Thomas found his true calling while computer gaming, and this was what propelled him into computer programming. He became fluent in the computer languages of Lua, Python, Java, SQL, and visual basic, just to name a few, and this knowledge helped him with his web design and software development, as well as with his robotics competitions throughout high school.

Thomas leaves behind his loving family; his mother Brigitte of Hancock, NH; his father, Walter of Bennington, NH; his sister Sarah, also of Hancock, NH; in addition to his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends. Thomas will be dearly missed by all.
