Valeda M. Rose

Valeda M. Rose, 79, of River Street in Jaffrey died Sunday, March 25, 2007 at the Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough after a period of failing health.

She was born on March 20, 1928 in Peterborough, New Hampshire and attended local schools. Through the years Mrs. Rose had lived in Peterborough, Greenville and Jaffrey and had worked at local business such as Hitchner Manufacturing, Warwick Mills, NH Ball Bearing and D.D. Bean & Sons.

Mrs. Rose loved her family and especially loved time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Vernon F. Rose, as well as her son Howard 'Dusty' Rose and her daughter Linda L. LaClaire.

She is survived by her son Timothy V. Rose of Jaffrey, 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, a niece and many cousins and close friends.

At Mrs. Rose's request, there will be no calling hours. A Celebration of Life will take place at the convenience of the family.
