Valerie E Blauvelt, 95, of Jaffrey died peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Monday, January 14, 2019 at the Pheasantwood Healthcare Center in Peterborough, NH after a period of failing health.

years before moving to New Hampshire. She had been a resident of Jaffrey since 1999 and had also lived in Sandown, New Hampshire for 26 years.

She maintained a huge vegetable garden, fruit trees and bushes, many flower beds and over an acre of manicured yard. Every harvest season she would can and freeze her bounty and was always willing to share the fruits of her labor with others.
