Zion Faith Mills, 17, died October 17, 2009 due to injuries from an automobile accident which happened in Greer, South Carolina.

Born on August 20, 1992 in Peterborough, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of John and Marsha (Tommila) Mills of Rindge, New Hampshire and Lyman, South Carolina.

Zion was presently a senior at Byrnes High School, Duncan, South Carolina. She loved her Savior, family, friends, shopping, animals, and was a true humanitarian, bringing people to Christ even after her death. She was an advocate for the unborn and reached out with her voice for life and was a gifted writer. She loved equestrian and had hopes of either becoming a veterinarian, lawyer or journalist. Zion attended Rindge Memorial School, Heritage Christian School, homeschooled for five years and did her sophomore year at Conant High School in Jaffrey, New Hampshire. She was on the Rindge Recreation softball team and Jaffrey/Rindge softball team and ran track at Conant H.S.

Zion is survived by her loving parents, John and Marsha Mills, Sisters, Sarah Weeks and husband Harold, Rebekah Salter and her husband Nathan of Rindge, New Hampshire, Rachel Colon and her husband Jose of Worcester, Massachusetts, Abigail Mills of Lyman, South Carolina, brothers; Abraham Mills and his wife Priscilla of Inman, South Carolina, Isaac Mills and his wife Christy of Lyman, South Carolina, Jacob Mills and his wife Jeanniffer of Troy, New Hampshire, Josiah Mills of Rindge, New Hampshire, Jonathan Mills of Jaffrey, New Hampshire and Zacharias Mills of Lyman, South Carolina, a half sister, Tonja Mills and half brother, John Mills III of California. She also leaves behind nephews; Dylan Weeks, Xander Weeks, Isaiah Salter, Elijah Salter, Immanuel Salter, Caleb Salter of Rindge, N.H., Joseph Mills, David Mills of Inman, S.C., Gabriel Mills, Asher Mills of Lyman, S.C., Valentino Colon of Worcester, Mass., nieces; Isabella Weeks, Sophia Weeks of Rindge, N.H., Arielle Mills, Elsie Mills, Naomi Mills, Sonja Mills, Anna Mills of Inman, S.C., Marianna Colon of Worcester, Mass., uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Zions grandparents, John and Francine Mills of Rindge, N.H., and Toivo and Pauline Tommila, of West Townsend, Mass, nephews Rafael and Zavier Weeks of Rindge, N.H. preceded Zion in death.

Burial will follow the service at the Hillside Cemetery on Goddard Road in Rindge.

Calling hours will be Thursday, October 22, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Christian Outreach Church, 199 North Street, Rindge, NH.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 11:00 AM,at the Christian Outreach Church, 199 North Street, Rindge, NH; Pastor Robert Hakala will officiate.
