Alice Mary (Babineau) Cormier, 86, of Richmond, NH, passed away peacefully at her home on April 7, 2026.

She was born on July 10, 1939, in Fitchburg, MA, the daughter of the late Marcel and Mary Elizabeth (Connors) Babineau. Alice attended local schools and eventually married Ronald A. Cormier, Sr.

She and her husband were Amway Pearl Direct Distributors and owners of a catering service, Eagle Canteen, in Fitchburg for many years. Alice enjoyed reading and had a love for children, her Sunday Mass and Praying the Rosary, as well as protecting the unborn. Alice was a lifelong devoted Catholic Traditionalist and was a 3rd Order Member of the Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary at St. Benedict Center in Richmond. She had many wonderful friends at the center who were all so helpful during her illness.

She was predeceased by the love of her life of 41 years, Ronald A. Cormier, Sr, and by her eldest daughter, Brenda Silvius.

Alice is survived by her children, Rhonda Breau and her husband, Gerald, of Fitchburg, MA, Lora Schroth of Laconia, NH, Ronald Cormier Jr. and his wife, Maria, of Troy, NH, Peter Cormier and his wife, Beth, of Porter, ME, Gregory Cormier of Richmond, NH, who was also her full-time caregiver, and Amy Ramsey and her husband, Christopher Sr., of Westmoreland, NH. She also leaves behind 43 grandchildren and 79 great-grandchildren, as well as many sisters, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 4:00 to 7:00PM at Cournoyer Funeral Home, 33 River Street, Jaffrey, NH 03452.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 13, 2026, at 11:00AM in St. Stanislaus Church, 82 Richmond Road, Winchester, NH 03470. Burial will follow in the Burial Grounds at Saint Benedict Center in Richmond, NH.
