Anne M. Chisholm-Enman

March 22, 1957 — January 13, 2017

Anne Marie Chisholm-Enman, 59, of Antrim died Friday Jan 13th at home suddenly and unexpectedly from a pulmonary embolism.

Anne was born on March 22nd 1957 in Concord, MA, the daughter of John and Rose (Brothen) Chisholm. She was a graduate of Concord Carlisle Regional High School and had attended New England College in Henniker. Anne moved to Francestown, NH with her future husband just in time to experience the “Blizzard of 78”. She married Wesley Enman on Oct 3rd 1981 and together they lived briefly in Greenfield before setting roots in Antrim in 1982 where they built their home.

Anne had worked at Brookstone and Eastern Mountain Sports before becoming a full time mother. She enjoyed being active in her children’s education and volunteered often. She enjoyed attending the local wool and garden tours with her family while raising chickens for eggs and canning and cooking from their garden. Quiet afternoons were spent baking and bird watching or embroidering and crocheting baby blankets for her family and for the Linus Project, an organization that provides new mothers with free blankets. Anne loved her dogs and adored her cats; she truly cherished birthdays, holidays, and spending time with her family. Anne was an avid reader and also enjoyed spending time at the library. She was serving her community as one of the founding members of the Antrim Cemetery Trustees and in 2016, she joined the Antrim’s Festival of Trees committee. After her children matured, Anne began working for Artek Museum Reproductions and had recently discovered the fun in sharing on Instagram and Pinterest.

Anne is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Wes, and by her three children, Graham, and twins Derek and Rebecca. She also leaves behind her 94 year-old father and brother Colin Chisholm of Concord, MA, along with her 5 sisters; Kathy Chisholm of Antrim, Debby Whitney and her husband Michael of Littleton, MA, Maureen Gazaille and her husband Dennis of Edgartown, MA, Sherry Melendy and her husband Tom of Goffstown, NH and Rosemarie Harrison and her husband Stephen of Rowley, MA; her father in law John Enman of Rindge NH, her brother in law Blair and his wife Claudette of Rutland VT, and sister in law Carol Enman of Cumberland ME, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Anne was predeceased by her mother Rose in 2015.

At Anne’s request, there will be no calling hours, however, family and friends are warmly invited to celebrate her life together on Sunday, January 22, 2017 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm at the James A. Tuttle Library, 45 Main Street, Antrim, NH 03440.
