Barbara Ann Sweet

BARBARA ANN SWEET, 70, of Squantum Road, in Jaffrey died Sunday March 1, 2009 at the Cheshire Medical Center in Keene following a long illness.

She was born July 15, 1938 in Bordentown New Jersey, daughter of the late Richard and Rebecca (Reed) Horner.
She attended grammar school in Bordentown and high school in Trenton.

She has been a resident of Jaffrey for the past three years and previously she had lived in Troy for twenty five years.
Barbara was a former employee of D.D. Bean Son Co. in Jaffrey.

She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Troy. She served as the financial secretary of the church as well as being a Sunday school teacher and running the Nursery at the church. She was also a member of the Womens Fellowship of the Church.

She is survived by six sons Gary Onorati of Covington, TN, David Onorati of Jaffrey, Ronald Onorati of Bordentown NJ, Richard Onorati of South Bend Indiana, Stephen Sweet of East Orange California and Michael Sweet of Aguanga, California; nine grandchildren; one step-grandson; two step-granddaughters; one great grandson; three step great grandsons; one step great granddaughter; two sisters Carol Morales of Pheonixville PA; Faith Loade of Cornville ME; a brother Richard Horner of Trenton NJ ; many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Troy, Post Office Box 609, Troy New Hampshire 03465-0609.

As per Barbaras request, there will be no calling hours.

Graveside services will be held on Monday May 11, 2009 at 11:00AM in Mountain View Cemetery, Troy.
Pastor Donald Williams of the First Baptist Church will officiate.
