Barbara A. Ball

Barbara A. Ball, 79, of New Ipswich, passed away July 28, 2025, after experiencing a brief illness.

Born in Peterborough N.H., Barbara attended and graduated from Peterborough High School, She worked at NHBB in assembly and finance before serving as management for AMES stores.

Barbara Served the Southern New Hampshire Region as a well respected EMT for Souhegan Valley Ambulance before she retired working for the State Of New Hampshire EMS/FTA .

Barbara was an avid lover of nature, music, and animals. She loved spending time with family and loved ones. Her love was felt by many as she always carried a comforting smile and a twinkle in her eye.

She is predeceased by her husband Justin L. Ball, her father Alden S. Brunell, and her mother Alice M. Emery.

She is survived by her brother Theodore Brunell of Swanzey,NH

Her three children Kimberly Mercier of Rindge, NH, Melissa Fernald of West Peterborough, NH, her son Michael Christian of New Ipswich, NH, and granddaughter Anna Fernald. She is also survived by her stepchildren Cyndi Ball, David Ball, Beau Carrington, and her granddaughter Caitlin Ball.

Barbara wished for all donations to be made to the Monadnock Humane Society in lieu of flowers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00AM on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at St. Patrick’s Church, 87 Main St. Jaffrey, NH.
