Bernard 'Bernie' Watson

Bernard S. Watson, one of the Monadnock Region’s beloved musicians has passed away peacefully at the age of 80.

 
‘Bernie’ was born on November 8, 1943 in Sunderland England, a son of the late Ewart and Rose Amelia (Fenwick) Watson.  He was educated in England but ventured around the world, sharing his musical talents and gifts in many bands throughout the years.   He eventually moved to the United States, met and married Louise C. Curran, and made Jaffrey his home.

Bernie will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered fondly by his family and many close friends.

At Bernie’s request there will be no calling hours.  

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Cutter Cemetery Extension, on Harkness Road in Jaffrey Center, NH.
