Beverly A Burba

June 6, 1956 — November 24, 2022

Beverly Ann Burba, age 66, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2022, at the Pleasant View Center, Concord, New Hampshire. She was born June 6, 1956, in Saginaw, Michigan to Raymond and and Dorothy (Stefanovsky) Burba. She married the father of her children, John Kauer, on January 4, 1985, in Saginaw.

Beverly was educated in Saginaw in the Catholic school system. She attended St. Casimir Elementary School and St. Peter and Paul High School. Beverly was an avid reader. She loved spending her summers at her family cottage on Higgins Lake, MI, fishing, sunning, swimming, and enjoying the outdoors. She loved to laugh.

Beverly loved to love people. She especially loved her grandchildren, Emma and Eli. They brought smiles and warmth to her heart. She also cherished her dear, life-long friend, Vicki Elliott, of Midland, Michigan.

Beverly loved making quilts, until her hands and eyes could no longer make them. She loved giving her quilts as gifts of love. She loved the art of sewing.

Before moving to New Hampshire, Beverly worked for the U.S. Post Office in Saginaw, Michigan. She was a member of the Women’s Pulaski Auxiliary in Saginaw and served as its president. She was also a member of the Catholic Blue Army of Our Lady Fatima in Saginaw where she helped with clerical work.

Beverly’s greatest joy in life was raising her three children, John, Mary, and Joseph. She was proud to be their mother. She would give them the “coat off her back” if needed. Through good times and hard times, her love never failed.

Beverly is survived by her three children, John Kauer, of Jaffrey, NH, Mary Chapman (Eric), of Barnstead, NH, and Joseph Kauer, of West Warwick, RI; her grandchildren, Emma and Eli, of Barnstead, NH; her three sisters, Mary Kusowski, of Saginaw, MI; Joanne Kostrzewa (John), of Traverse City, MI, and Debra Haremski (James), of Saginaw, MI; her nephews, Robert Kusowski, Gregory Kusowski, David Decker, and Phillip Marin; nieces, Angela Miller, Ashley Kotlarz, and Jennifer Ozerajtys. All of these she loved deeply.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Dorothy Burba; her brother-in-law, Eugene Kusowski; nephew, Daniel Kusowski; and her former husband, John Kauer.
