Cindy Ciani-Morton

Cindy Ciani-Morton, 59, of Bethlehem, NH, and formerly of Nashua and Jaffrey, died suddenly and unexpectedly at the Littleton Regional Hospital in Littleton, NH on Friday, February 2, 2018, with her husband by her side.

Cindy was born in Manchester, NH on December 22, 1958, daughter of the late Felix DeGrandpre and Ethel (Mattson) DeGrandpre. She was a 1976 graduate of Conant High School and had attended Keene State College and Hesser College in Nashua.

Cindy had been a LNA and eventually became a Unit Coordinator at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua. Through her nursing career she had also worked at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester and Cottage Hospital in Woodsville, NH.

She enjoyed making jewelry and handcrafts and had recently taken to selling her creations online. Cindy also loved spoiling her dogs, walking and photography.

Cindy was a devoted wife, mother, and very proud grandmother, and will be missed by her husband whom she married on August 4, 2007, Richard H. Morton of Bethlehem, NH, and by their children, Brian Ciani of Milford, NH, Melissa Ciani of Keene, NH, Krystal Green of Antrim, NH, Jonathan Morton of Dallas-Fort Worth, TX, Jeffrey Morton of Merrimack, NH, James Morton of Fort Huachuca, NM, and by their 11 Grandchildren. Her family also includes her sister, Betsy Brochu of Jaffrey, NH; her brothers, Roy and his wife Michelle DeGrandpre of Amherst, NH and John and his wife Wendi DeGrandpre of Roswell, GA. Her extended family includes her Aunt, Joan Wydo of Keene, NH; her Aunt and Uncle, Jean and Ronnie Boutwell, of Jaffrey, NH; Joan DeGrandpre of Rindge, NH; Lisa Galante of Rindge, NH; William O'Neil and his wife Robin Martel-O'Neil of Ridgeland, SC and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends and family are invited to calling hours on Monday, February 5, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Cournoyer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 33 River Street, (Route 202) Jaffrey.

An additional calling hour will be shared on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00AM and a Funeral Liturgy Service celebrated immediately following at 11:00AM in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Wilfred Deschamps, Pastor of Saint Patrick Church in Jaffrey will be the celebrant. Burial will take place in the spring at Saint Patrick Cemetery in Jaffrey.
