Clifford C. Baldwin, 80, lifelong resident of Jaffrey, NH died at his home after a period of declining health on Sunday, October 2, 2016.
He was born on January 22, 1936 in Peterborough, a son of the late Charles and Margaret (Fitzgerald) Baldwin.
Clifford was raised and educated in Jaffrey and graduated from Conant High School in 1954. Upon graduating high school, Clifford entered the United States Navy and was later honorably discharged in 1958.
While in the Navy he served on the USS Battleship Iowa and the USS Light Cruiser Roanoke.
He worked for 40 years at New Hampshire Ball Bearing in Peterborough, as the supervisor of the gage room.
Clifford was a proud member of the Jaffrey Memorial Post #5613.
In addition to his parents, Clifford was predeceased by a son, Michael.
Survivors include his loving wife, Luana of Jaffrey, a son, Larry Baldwin of Jaffrey, Half brother, Walter and his wife Celeste Snitko of Dublin, NH, Half Sister, Karen Baldwin of Hillsborough, NH and a Sister Janet and husband Robert Minckler of Winchendon, MA.
Services: In accordance with Clifford’s wishes there will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the St. Patrick Cemetery, Jaffrey, with Rev. David Jadlocki Officiating.
