David E. Glasgow, 64, of Antrim, NH passed suddenly on December 21, 2022.

He was born on June 6, 1958, in Malone, NY to Leslie and Sylvia George. David grew up in the sticks of Duane, NY and graduated from Franklin Academy in 1977. He enlisted with the United States Marines after graduation. He served his country well, earning a Good Conduct Medal and Rifle Marksmanship Badge. Later, David was promoted to Lance Corporal.

After completing his service, he returned to the states and married Janice Shonyo on July 15, 1979. Janice and David had their only child, Matthew, in 1993. In 1980, David began his 42 years of loyal service working for D.D. Bean & Sons Co in Jaffrey, NH.

One of David’s greatest joys was time spent with his family. He also enjoyed working on his vehicles, being outside, going for rides with his friends on their ATV’s, hunting and fishing. He will always be remembered for his bright smile, caring personality, along with his wit and humor. David was a very dedicated man who could always be counted on when the call for help came.

He is predeceased by his father, Leslie R. George, his stepmother, Nancy George, his stepfather, Silas Glasgow II, and his brothers; Silas Glasgow III and Russell George.

David is survived by his son, Matthew Glasgow of Antrim, NH, his mother, Sylvia Glasgow of Melbourne, FL, his brothers; Paul George of Malone, NY and Aaron Glasgow of Lake Placid, NY, his sister, Melissa Monroe of Lake Placid, NY, his uncle, John Earl of WA who he thought of as a brother and his ex-wife and friend, Janice Glasgow of Jaffrey, NH.
