David John Mitchell, 64, of Sharon, died suddenly at home following a brief illness, on February 5, 2026.
David was born on August 17, 1961, at the former Elliot Hospital in Keene, NH, the son of Bruce and Donna (McCarthy) Mitchell.
He grew up in Marlborough, NH attending Marlborough Schools and played Soccer, Baseball and Basketball, graduating from Marlborough High School in 1979. He had a vast knowledge of music, bands, and musicians…he could answer any question thrown at him by any of his friends! He could always ‘name that tune’ in only 2 notes! David especially enjoyed spending time at home with his wife and their two Beagles, watching New England sports, especially the Bruins and the Revolution.
