Debra Lee Kothavala, 58, of Fitzwilliam, passed away suddenly after being stricken at home on Saturday morning, April 10, 2021.
‘Debbi’ was born in Peterborough, NH on May 29, 1962, daughter of the late Robert P. and Adrienne M. (Patnaude) Roy. She was raised in Jaffrey and attended area schools, graduating from Conant High School in 1981.
She married Tehmasp ‘Tim’ Kothavala on February 14, 1997 in a ceremony at East Hill Farm in Troy N.H. Debbi was a beloved bus driver for the Jaffrey Rindge School District, safely transporting area children on Bus # 42 for more than 20 years. Most recently she was enjoying her work in Customer Service as a Cashier at Tractor Supply in Rindge, her customers were the highlight of this work experience.
Debbi enjoyed gardening, canning her crops and going for walks. She loved the beach, eating lobster, bird watching, and spending time with her dogs. During the Holiday seasons, Debbi loved decorating and enjoyed celebrating times spent with her family.
Survivors include her loving husband of 24 years, Tim Kothavala of Fitzwilliam; her two daughters: Tanya Connolly and Krista Connolly of Rindge; her brothers: Steve Roy and Scott Roy; her sisters, Carol Pryor and Terri Nolte; her four grandchildren: Kolyn, Cayley, Myles and Shawn as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends she made along the way.
Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation at the Cournoyer Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 33 River St (Rte. 202), Jaffrey NH, 03452, on Monday, April 19, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
