Ethan Perry

September 28, 1953 — December 19, 2021

Longtime Rindge resident Ethan Thatcher Perry, 68, passed away at his home on December 19, 2021.

Ethan was born on September 28, 1953 in Goffstown, New Hampshire, to William and Sylvia (Brown) Perry. He graduated from Palmer High School in Palmer, MA. From there, he went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts degree from Elon University.

Ethan met the love of his life, Michele Denise Perry (neé Walsh) while working at 73 Magazine in Peterborough, NH. He was a loving husband to Michele for 42 years.

Ethan and Michele made Rindge their home where they raised their three wonderful daughters - Jessica, Brenda, and Elise.

Locals will remember Ethan as the owner of All Pro Paint & Wallpaper in Rindge. Additionally, Ethan worked for the Jaffrey-Rindge Cooperative School District in Jaffrey, NH for 15 years before retiring in 2018.

He found great joy in traveling with Michele, seeing new sights, and sampling new dishes in restaurants. He could often be found cooking for his family at home, using ingredients that came out of his abundant vegetable garden, a source of great pleasure for him during the summer months. An avid reader, Ethan frequented the local library in Rindge, enjoying both books and puzzles all year long.

Ethan is survived by his wife, Michele, and their three daughters, Jessica O’Connor (Dan) of Langdon, NH, Brenda Koperniak (Tom) of Shirley, MA, and Elise Babineau (Jacob) of Taylors, SC. He is also survived by his brother, Harold Perry of Lake George, CO.

Ethan was a devoted and proud Papi to his six grandchildren: Quinn and Keegan, Sage and Rose, Piper Mae and Landon, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ethan was preceded in death by his parents, William and Sylvia Perry, and his siblings Cindy Perry, Dwight Perry and William Perry.

Ethan’s family was the center of his life, his pride and joy. He will be warmly remembered, but greatly missed and never forgotten.

A private celebration of Ethan’s life will be held at a later date.
