Harold L. Thompson

Harold L Thompson 64, a resident of Jaffrey, NH, went home to be with the Lord on July 9, 2021 after a three-year battle with cancer.

He was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on May 31, 1957. He was the son of the late Charles W. and Veronica Thompson. He graduated from Lowell High School.

Harold made his home in Jaffrey for the past 17 years. He also lived in Orange and Athol Massachusetts. He was the owner and operator of Harold’s Mobil Station in Athol, for several years. Most recently he worked at the USPS processing plant in Nashua, NH for over 20 years, where he made many lifetime friendships.

He was predeceased by his sister Helen J Dean, who died in 2019. Family members include, two brothers, Jack Thompson of Calais, Maine and David Thompson and his wife Gail of Florida. Two sisters, Eva Gilliland of Londonderry New Hampshire and Maryann Chausse of Washington State. Many nephews, nieces, and friends and his lifelong friend Frank Zabierek and his favorite princess Emily Hapgood.
