Herbert “Tate” T. Cloutier, 55, of Jaffrey, NH, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH, following a brief illness.
Tate was born in Peterborough, NH, on July 12, 1967, a son to the late Richard J. and Colleen M. (Champney) Cloutier.
Tate grew up in the Monadnock region and attended local Jaffrey schools. He worked various jobs throughout the years, including Belletete’s and locally where he worked at Waste Management. He was known for his “lovebug” caring nature. Although a true homebody, he would often be found attending family barbeques and birthday parties as family meant the world to him. In his free time also enjoyed NASCAR and racing, as well as watching wrestling. Many fond memories were had from driving around in his truck.
Tate was predeceased by both of his parents, as well as niece Kasie Cloutier and his nephew Neil Champney.
Tate is survived by his two daughters; Noelle Cloutier of Claremont, NH, and Ashley Holmes of Vermont, his three brothers, Michael Cloutier and his wife Teresa of Jaffrey, NH, Richard Cloutier and his wife Kelene of Rindge, NH, Owen Cloutier and his longtime partner Kelsey of Jaffrey, NH, his sister Jolyn Knight and her husband Tim of Dublin, NH, three grandbabies with grandbaby number four due to arrive in April, as well as five nephews, Mikey, Justin, Caleb, Marshall, and Joey, and three nieces Kaitlyn, Brittany, and Ana, beloved Aunt Tannis, as well as many uncles, cousins, relatives and close friends.
Tate’s family will be holding a memorial celebration of life as well as burial in the springtime.
