Irving Taylor Jr. was born on April 20, 1954, to Irving and Marion Taylor of Dunstable, Massachusetts. He passed away peacefully on October 11, 2026.

Irving, lovingly known as Irv, grew up in Dunstable as part of a large family and attended the Groton-Dunstable school system. He inherited his father’s passion for racing, a love that remained with him throughout his life. He spent many hours at the Hudson, New Hampshire, racetrack, where he could be found helping fellow drivers in the pits or behind the wheel of his own No. 91 race car. He also enjoyed attending the annual race at New Hampshire International Speedway (NHIS) and watching races on television whenever he had the chance.

Irv spent many happy years enjoying a seasonal campsite on a lake in New Hampshire. Whether at home or outdoors, Irv was rarely idle. He began his career as a car salesman and spent the last 10 years of his working life in an engine and parts warehouse, while continuing to sell cars as a hobby. He was a natural tinkerer who always found something to keep him busy, whether working on cars, tackling construction projects, gardening, stone wall building or caring for the lawn. He took pleasure in staying active and working with his hands. He loved Jazz music and was a self-taught harmonica player.

Irv will be remembered for his lifelong passion for racing, his hardworking spirit, and his ability to always find something to fix, build, or care for. He leaves behind a family and many loved ones who will cherish his memory.
