Jane was also a longtime member and past president of the Monadnock Garden Club and was often seen tending her own lovely garden in Jaffrey Center. She was an avid tennis player who played USTA tennis for many years and made many friends while doing so. Jane also enjoyed spending winters with her husband at Seabrook Island, SC, where she frequented the beach, collecting seashells.
Known for her gentle smile, Jane was much beloved by her children and the wider community. She will be remembered for her sweet disposition, nurturing ways, and an infectious smile that she shared generously.
