Janet Marie Roberts

Janet Marie Roberts, age 90, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2026, at Broadview Assisted Living, following an illness.

She was born on March 26, 1935, in Jaffrey, New Hampshire, the daughter of the late Rosario Charlonne and Mary E. (Davis) Charlonne.

Janet was predeceased by her beloved husband of 73 years, Norman Roberts; her oldest son, Steven A. Roberts; her two sisters, Rosalie A. Roberts and Gloria V. Fredette; her brother, Kenneth E. Charlonne; and her grandson Nathan C. Roberts.

She is survived by her four children, Alan Roberts, Mary-Lou Roberts, Janeal Shepard, and Melissa Littlefield, along with their significant others. She also leaves behind three grandchildren, Ryan Roberts, Morgan Lawton, and Cari Moriarity; six great-grandchildren, Walter, Carleigh, Makenna, Phoebe, Grant, and Sophie; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Janet and Norman spent many happy years as snowbirds in Florida, where they lived for 16 years following retirement before returning north due to illness. Florida held a special place in Janet’s heart. She loved the beach, browsing flea markets, and enjoying an active social life filled with dominoes, shuffleboard, and card games. At home, she could often be found crocheting blankets or simply spending time with her family, something she treasured above all else.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Care Central Hospice, French Connection—especially Debbie St. John Bonello—and the compassionate staff at Broadview Assisted Living. Their care, kindness, and support will always be remembered.
